You are invited to attend this free showing of Hometown Habitat - Stories of Bringing Nature Home on Friday Sept 21st 2018 at Idaho Botanical Garden, Outlaw Field 2355 Old Penitentiary Road. Through its profile of 7 hometown habitat heroes, this film will help to answer these questions for you. The narrative thread of this 8-part documentary is provided by renowned entomologist Douglas Tallamy, Ph.D. whose research, books and lectures about the use of non-native plants in landscaping sound the alarm about habitat and species loss. Tallamy challenges the notion that humans are here and nature is someplace else. Tallamy says, “It doesn’t have to and shouldn’t be that way.”

Bring a blanket, and come out to the Garden as we co-host this film with the Idaho Sierra Club on the giant-outdoor-big-screen. Food and beverage will be available for purchase or bring a picnic!

E-tickets will arrive in an e-mail after your payment confirmation e-mail.
