Learn to Crochet a Reusable Bag O’ Bags Class w/ Chloe Kennedey

Celebrate Earth Day at IBG and learn to crochet a bag with Chloe Kennedey. Everyone has too many of those disposable plastic bags lying around their house. During this class, you will learn how to turn them into versatile plastic yarn and use them to crochet a reusable bag! This evening class is great for beginners to intermediate crocheters. At the end of the class, you’ll walk away with a new sustainable craft obsession and the making of a new bag, as well as a 6mm crochet hook to continue the creation. All materials will be provided.  

Note: This is an outdoor experience, weather permitting, and will move indoors if needed.

After checking out, you will be added to the class/workshop roster and a member of the IBG Education Team will contact you about 1 week prior to the event.

Classes & Workshops 

  • Refunds are not available if cancelled by the individual registrant. As we are a non-profit organization*, we are happy to assist you so that your fee can be applied toward another amazing class or workshop offered this or next season! Please contact education@idahobotanicalgarden.org with any questions. Note: Transfers of registrations must be used within 4 months of the original class/workshop registration. 
  • Two weeks' notice is required to request a transfer to another class/workshop. 
  • No refunds for no shows.  
  • The Garden reserves the right to cancel any class/workshop due to low enrollment. 
  • Programs cancelled by the Garden will be automatically fully refunded.
