Specialty coffee can be intimidating, especially for something designed to be consumed before you're totally awake. Many factors influence a cup of coffee's final profile, and it can be daunting to figure out which coffee to select and how to prepare coffee so it tastes great to you.
The World of Specialty Coffee can help you understand the nuances of this amazing and complex beverage. It will break down growing, processing, roasting, and brewing so you can better understand what the different terms mean. You'll taste different coffees side-by-side to develop your palate and discern what you do and don't enjoy in your cup. By the end of the class, you should have a better understanding of valuable information about the coffee you choose, and feel equipped to handle the coffee aisle. As a bonus, each attendee will leave with an 8-ounce bag of single-origin coffee to brew at home and practice what they've learned.
Join us for a fun, interactive class in which you can learn everything you want to know about specialty coffee.
Note: The class will be held in our classroom. Participants can explore the Garden afterward as admission is included in class registration.
If you are a Garden Member, please click the Sign in/Register link at the top right of your screen to receive your member rate.
